The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ekiti State Chapter, has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the Osun State Chapter of NAWOJ over the sudden passing of their Vice Chairperson, Taiwo Kekereekun.
The NAWOJ Chairperson,Mrs Adewumi Ademiju in a statement signed by the Secretary, Mrs. Funmi Falae, described Taiwo’s death as a “shocking and devastating loss” to the journalism community and the NAWOJ family.
“We are deeply saddened by Taiwo’s untimely departure,” said Mrs. Ademiju. “She was a vibrant and committed member of our association, and her contributions to the profession will be greatly missed.”
The Association extended its condolences to Taiwo’s family, friends, and colleagues, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the loss.
NAWOJ Ekiti State Chapterl also urged members to honor Taiwo’s memory by continuing her legacy of dedication, hard work, and commitment to the profession.
“May her soul rest in peace,” NAWOJ added..
