Ekiti: Muslim Women Prayer Group Endorses Oyebanji for 2nd Term

 

A Muslim Women Prayer Group under the aegis of BAO Muslim Women Group on Sunday endorsed the Ekiti state governor, Biodun Oyebanji for another term.

The Muslim Women took the decision during the monthly prayers held at the government house mosque in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

The Coordinator of the group Alhaja Zainab Ogunlayi said the robust performance of the governor in terms of political leadership and dividends of democracy informed the endorsement.

“Governor Oyebanji has introduced extensive grassroot politicking in Ekiti and this is facilitating community development across the state. The establishment of the Office of Community Communication has also created a huge impact on active connection between the leader and the led.

“It will be a great advantage for the state to enjoy the leadership style of the governor for two constitutional terms”

The Muslim Women Group also applauded the wife of the governor, Professor Olayemi Oyebanji for being a great Mother to all in the state “considering the various programs and activities introduced that geared towards the development of Women and children at large.,”

The prayer group used the occasion to seek the support of all the stakeholders and the entire indigenes, residents and Ekiti in diaspora for Oyebanji on successful administrations.
