The Ekiti State Head of Service,Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi has called on members of the forum of General Managers in the State Public Service to deploy all available machinery and resources within their disposal to achieve excellence in the discharge of their duties.
Dr. Olomojobi gave the charge while playing host to the forum of General Managers in her office in Ado-Ekiti.
The Head of Service while appreciating the body for its selfless service urged members of the forum to play their parts optimally in order for the present Administration in the state to seamlessly actualize its six-pillar Developmental agenda.
She disclosed that as drivers of Government policies, programmes and activities ,the Civil Service under her watch will give priority to training and re-training of the workforce as well as re- skilling and retooling of personnel.
Olomojobi emphasized the commitment of the present administration to ensuring that every impediment or challenges that could militate against the realization of the shared prosperity agenda in the Public Service will be addressed in due course calling for greater synergy and team- spirit across all sectors in the State Public Service.
Earlier in his remarks ,the Chairman of the forum of General Managers, Mr. Olumide Fatoba congratulated the Head of Service on the well-deserved appointment which he observed was a testament to her excellent performance in the past.
Fatoba who gave the assurances of unalloyed loyalty, support and cooperation of the forum for the Head of Service urged her to use her good office to address some challenges facing General Managers and the Civil Service as a whole.
