A Victory assurance has been given to the All progressives Congress APC in Ekiti state towards the forthcoming gubernatorial election. This is coming as an American-based Public Health Practitioner and Business Tycoon, Prince Adeolu Tinubu expressed determination to work hard towards ensuring a landslide electoral success for the APC candidate, Mr Biodun Oyebanji during the June 18 governorship election.

Tinubu who is the Chairman, Alumni Association of the Ekiti State University EKSU, USA Chapter declared he would use his personal influence, resources and Diaspora based support to deliver Emure, Ise-Orun and Ikere local governments for Oyebanji.
Tinubu who spoke while addressing electorates and journalists in his country home Emure Ekiti said “I’ll join hands with other APC believers to deliver the three councils using strong diaspora influence.
“My parents are from Emure and Ise. My wife is from the Oluyede family in Ikere Ekiti, having travelled around the world I have discovered that continuity remains a better way to attract rapid growth and development to any society.
” My support for BAO is not out of sentiment but for the love of Ekiti, I have the confidence that Oyebanji being a seasoned administrator will consolidate on the great work already done by Governor Kayode Fayemi and we will all smile at the end.
“We have a beautiful state endowed immensely with human and natural resources, all we need is good governance and sustainable leadership system.
Speaking further, Tinubu noted that, “Lagos State is a classical reference point when we want to give a practical example of what a continuous and unbreakable government can achieve through a well-established strategic plan.
He noted that Governor Kayode Fayemi had done well and he should be commended for his good policies and other beautiful initiatives particularly in the area of education, workers welfare and infrastructural development.
Tinubu also commended Otunba Niyi Adebayo for his political maturity saying “I have never seen any politician in the history of Nigeria who has voluntarily turned down a second term offer for Governorship except Otunba Niyi Adebayo, owing to his discipline and great principles”.
“To this end, all hands must be on deck. With our resolve to make Ekiti State a “home indeed”, our good people of Ekiti State both at home and in the diaspora are hereby implored to support Biodun Oyebanji for Governor”
