Ekiti State first lady, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has pledged to renew her support for the members of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria, FOMWAN, Ekiti State Chapter.
The Governor’s wife made this known while playing host to the leadership of the FOMWAN Ekiti State chapter in her office in Ado-Ekiti.
“it gladdens my heart to know that the association concentrates on some thematic areas like education, health, advocacy, empowerment and community development which is what I appreciate “. She said.
Dr Olayemi also coveted the support and prayers of the group and by extension the Muslim community for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his administration so that the good work would continue in Ekiti State.
The wife of the Governor also solicited the continued support of the group to Biodun Oyebanji led administration in the state whom the group described as God sent.
Secretary to the Ekiti State Government , Professor Habibat Adubiaro who led the group to the office of the wife of the governor appreciated Dr Oyebanji for her usual support to the Muslim community.
Earlier, the FOMWAN Amirah in the state, Hajia Aisha Jimoh appreciated the wife of the Governor for the support before ,during and after the Ramadan.
She described that her people centred polices and programmes have been a blessing to Ekiti Muslim and Christian women describing it as a great source of support for the group.
