The First Lady encouraged the Muslim faithful to continue to emulate the noble character of Prophet Mohammed by showing kindness to one another, supporting the less privileged and to promote unity and peaceful coexistence in the society.

She noted that the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir serves as a reminder of the need for total submission to the will of God, sacrifice for humanity and commitment to righteous living.

Dr. Oyebanji also commended the Muslim community in Ekiti State for their prayers and contributions towards the peace, progress and development of the state.

While wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful celebration, the First Lady prayed for continued divine blessings, harmony and prosperity in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
