An aspirant contesting under the All progressives Congress APC into the House of Assembly in Ekiti State, Hon.Sesan Orija Talent has declared that he is in the race to provide adequate representation for the benefit of his people on dividends of democracy.
Orija made his intentions known during an interview with newsmen when he said, “I am declaring my intention to contest as member Ekiti state house of assembly, Ado, constituency 2.
“As a politician and a core party member, the desire is borne out of my heart to serve my people.
“If I eventually emerge, I will build a party secretariat for my ward and also, am going to engage both women and youths on entrepreneurial development and also create an education support initiative for members of my constituency.
Sesan Orija who spoke in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday at the flag off distribution of medicated eye glasses to members of his ward which he organized in support of the gubernatorial ambition of the APC Candidate, Biodun Oyebanji stated:
“It is not for my ward alone, this is my first time of doing it but I intend to continue it and it cuts across other wards within my constituency. I flag it off in support of our incoming Governor, Hon. Biodun Oyebanji (Bao), to support his campaign. And I noticed many vulnerable people couldn’t afford to buy glasses so I needed to assist them.”
On what stands him out above other contestants who are also vying for this position, he said
“I am different from them because, I am a politician that started from the scratch, I was an exco in this ward for like 8 years and you know before someone can become an exco he must have been a member for sometime. I also understand the problem of the people. What the people wants. And I know when I get there, I know what to do for my people and the people in my constituency”.
