… Expresses Determination To Tackle Insecurity
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ekiti State has inaugurated campaign committee ahead of the forthcoming Ekiti 2022 Governorship Election.
The meeting held at the state Secretariat, Odo Ado, Ado Ekiti had members of the State Executive Council and other party leaders across the State in attendance.
Speaking to newsmen after the official inauguration of the Campaign Committee, the State Chairman of the Party Mr. Rufus Alabi said the party is ready to muscle power from the ruling party and insecurity in Ekiti State will be one of their major campaign discuss.
His words, “It is glaring how people are being kidnapped everyday in Ekiti State, I can tell you categorically that no where is safe in Ekiti as a farmer was gunned down by some unknown men even on his farm, and the Government is not making effort to cub this ugly incident. As a party we shall provide maximum security for our citizens and be accountable for any breach of security order and peaceful atmosphere in Ekiti State”.
In the same trend, the party’s Governorship Candidate in Ekiti State Hon. Obidoyin Benjamin Olufemi expressed confidence that the campaign strategies put in place will give the party an edge over other political parties to clinch the Ekiti State Governorship seat.
“We have just concluded the inauguration of our Campaign Team, insecurity, youth & women empowerment will form our campaign agenda and we trust God and the people of Ekiti state to come victorious at the election” ,he said.
Hon. Mrs Adebayo Renike the newly Director General of the campaign, reads out the names of other members of the committee as follows;
“Hon. Anifowose Isaac (Youth Coordinator), Hon. Adetunmobi Bukola Kemisola (Women Wing), Mr. Adebolu Dotun (Finance) and Hon. Famuyibo Oluwasegun (Media & Publicity)”.
The Director General of the party stated that Other sub committees would be released in due time.
