The Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board, Ekiti State, has felicitated with Muslims across Ekiti State on the celebration of this year’s Maolud Nabiy. In his goodwill message, he urged faithfuls to use the occasion to renew their commitment to peace, devotion, and good neighbourliness, stressing that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad remain a guiding light for every sincere believer. He also prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection over the entire state and its people.

The chairman expressed gratitude to Muslims in Ekiti for maintaining unity and continuing to uphold values of discipline and compassion during the celebration. He encouraged worshippers to celebrate with modesty and purpose, emphasizing that Maolud Nabiy should inspire acts of charity, understanding, and spiritual growth. He further called on Muslims to shun anything capable of disrupting public order or weakening the existing bond among communities.
While speaking on government’s role in sustaining peaceful coexistence, he applauded the Governor of Ekiti State for fostering religious harmony within the state. He noted the governor’s love and support for Muslims, describing it as a demonstration of respect for religious diversity and a commitment to ensuring that all faiths are given equal opportunities to practise their beliefs peacefully. He said the governor’s actions have continued to strengthen trust among different religious groups in Ekiti.
The chairman concluded by calling on all Muslims “to continue praying for the progress of Ekiti State and for leaders at all levels.”
He urged the faithful to remain steadfast in faith and to embody the virtues of the Prophet in daily interactions. He prayed that the celebration brings peace, prosperity, and divine favour to Ekiti State, while also wishing Muslims a joyful and spiritually rewarding Maolud Nabiy celebration.
