…Solicits Prayer Supports for Tinubu, Oyebanji
The President of Ado Heritage, Bashorun Tope Alabi and entire leadership has extended the warmest felicitations to all Muslim brothers and sisters within the Ado Heritage and Ado-Ekiti community.
This is coming as Muslims joyfully celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the culmination of the blessed month of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwal in the year 1445 AH.
Bashorun Tope Alabi in a statement by the Secretary, Dr. Akeem Bello enjoins Muslims, “in the spirit of this joyous celebration, to remember to rejoice with moderation, as exemplified by the teachings of Ramadan”. He emphasises that the fasting prescribed by Allah “is not merely a test of endurance but a profound lesson in empathy and compassion.”
As stated in the Quran, “O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous” (Quran 2:183). Bashorun Tope Alabi admonishes that through fasting, “we have learned to empathise with the less fortunate, cultivate patience, and strengthen our bonds of love and brotherhood.”
He therefore adds that “these virtues are important pillars necessary to live a fulfilled life and enjoined us to adhere to them religiously.”
Bashorun Alabi emphasises that, “in the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), let us embrace these virtues wholeheartedly”. The Prophet (SAW) demonstrated patience and perseverance in the face of adversity, and his love for humanity knew no bounds. Let his noble example guide us in making our world a better place for all”.
The President of Ado Heritage enjoins the entire members of this community to intensify prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he navigates the challenges of governance, for success and peaceful coexistence in our country. Similarly, Bashorun seeks prayers for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s success.
He adds that as we offer our prayers during this blessed time, let us beseech Allah for peace and harmony in our communities, our state, and our beloved Nigeria. May this Eid-Fitr be a beacon of hope and unity, ushering in a brighter future for us all.
He wishes all a joyous and blessed Eid al-Fitr.
“May Allah’s blessings be upon you and your loved ones today and always.
Happy Eid al-Fitr”, Bashorun Tope Alabi said.
