…Charges on Peaceful atmosphere as Panacea to Development
The Chairman Arewa community of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos state , Alhaji Saadu Yusuf Dandare Gulmah has congratulated muslims on the Successful completion of this year’s ramadan fasting , celebrating Eidl fitri.

Gulmah who is also the APC Coordinating Chairman, Arewa community southwest tasked Islamic faithful on peaceful coexistence and to utilize good lessons learnt in the month of Ramadan for the benefit of the Country.
The Lagos APC Arewa Community Chairman also pledged and solicited support for the administration of the state governor,Babajide Sanwoolu.
Alhaji Gulmah in a press release he personally signed on Friday and made available to Newshereandthere rejoiced with “our brothers and sisters in Islam as they join their counterparts from all over the world to celebrate the Eid-el-Fitri symbolizing the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
“I thank the Almighty Allah for granting us good health of body and mind to successfully participate and complete the 30 days fasting which is one of the five pillars of Islam as stipulated by Prophet Muhammed ( S.A.W.).
“For our brothers and sisters to achieve this feat had required sacrifice and self denials by them from what they regarded as luxury.
“I am convinced that we had upheld charity, almsgiving to the less privileged in the society as well as prayers and supplications to Allah for peace, love, divine protection and favours for themselves, their loved ones and Nigeria as a whole.
“I noticed that social vices, hate speeches, political vendetta and other malaise were either at their lowest ebb or stopped to rear their ugly heads in our state.
“I appeal to all our Muslim brothers and sisters to uphold these acts of serenity and civility and say no to violence during and after the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations.
“Let us be contended with what we have acquired legitimately and act within the prism of decency for the good of all all times
“It is in a peaceful atmosphere that we can record development and peace which we are all yearning for from the Government.”
He added that display of maturity by the people would enable the leaders on good governance .
“By behaving maturedly, we will be supporting the state government under our able and ever-performing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to bring us the dividends of democracy and good governance.
“I urge you all to continue to be peaceful in all your endeavours as you have always done while you should not hesitate to report people suspected of dubious and doubtful missions to the law enforcement agencies.
“Above all, I appeal to you all to continue to pray for Nigeria that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala, will take control of our transition process.
“May the goodness of today enrich all aspects of your life and may God protect you from all sorts of calamity that may come your way. Insha Allah you shall have every reason to thank God from today henceforth”,he stated.
