Former governor of Ekiti state and Governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the State,Engineer Segun Oni has Felicitated Muslims across the Country on this year’s celebration of Eide-el-Maulud.
The PDP Aspirant also used the occasion to call Nigerians to produce patriotic leaders who would liberate the country from the predicament retarding the Progress and development.
Oni in a press statement he personally signed on Tuesday and made available to Newshereandthere stated that,”In the spirit of this special day bequeathed to mankind by the Almighty Allah (SAW), I pray that our nation shall be inspired to seek the rebirth of quality leadership, quality thinking and quality ideas.
“In this season of politics, permit me to use the significance of this celebration to urge the people and political stakeholders in the country to be conscientious, purposeful and deliberate in finding and supporting good leaders with proven track records at all levels who will work selflessly and assiduously to salvage the country.
“Our country is in dire need of quality leaderships at all levels of government who can learn from the giant strides recorded by Prophet Muhammad to do something extraordinary in the remaking of Nigeria.
