The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) has today honoured the General Manager of Lagos State Printing Corporation (LSPC), Hon. Dr. Kolawole Peregrino, with the 2025 Silver Jubilee Social Impact Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to social welfare and impactful service delivery in Lagos State.
The prestigious award was presented to Dr. Peregrino during the closing ceremony of COWLSO’s 25th Annual National Women’s Conference, held at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of COWLSO and First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, commended Dr. Peregrino for his exemplary leadership, innovative management, and dedication to advancing the Lagos State Government’s agenda through inclusive and community-oriented initiatives at the Lagos State Printing Corporation.
COWLSO, established in 1974 to support the social welfare objectives of the Lagos State Government, presents the Social Impact Award annually to individuals and organizations whose contributions have significantly improved lives and strengthened social development across the State.
This year’s Silver Jubilee Conference, themed “25 Years of Visionary Legacy: Inspiring the Next Generation,” celebrates a quarter-century of impactful initiatives championed by COWLSO.
While receiving the award, Dr. Peregrino expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of COWLSO for the recognition. He described the honour “as a call to further service”, reaffirming his commitment “to driving innovative and people-centered initiatives that align with the vision of the Lagos State Government”
He dedicated the award first to his beautiful and supportive wife, appreciating her encouragement and partnership through his journey of public service. He also extended the dedication to the management and staff of the Lagos State Printing Corporation, acknowledging their collective efforts and commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement
The Silver Jubilee Social Impact Award serves as a testament to Dr. Peregrino’s visionary leadership, social responsibility, and unwavering dedication to the progress of Lagos State.
