Breaking:Atiku dumps PDP
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has resigned from the party.
Atiku announced his resignation from the party via a letter addressed to the PDP Chairman in Jada Ward 1 in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The letter dated Monday, July 14, 2025, was obtained on Wednesday, July 16.
The former vice president is currently leading an opposition coalition to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
