The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, BATS-V, leadership held it’s first post-election meeting on Saturday , 8th July, 2023 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, to deliberate on a wide range of issues that will be beneficial to all BATS-V members, both at home and in the diaspora.
The meeting according to a press release signed by Jimmy Nanyak Lar,
Special Assistant Media to BATS-V Global Chairman had in attendance BATS-V leaders of the group from the six geo-political zones in the country and was presided over by BATS-V Global Chairman, Amb. Dr. Dare Owotomobi.
“In his opening remarks, Dr. Owotomobi congratulated all members of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, BATS-V, for ensuring that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was elected the president of Nigeria in the last Presidential election.
“The Global Chairman said that the strategic meeting was to ensure that our members are not left out in the distribution of appointments, considering the effort put in by BATS-V. He therefore urged all members, both at home and in the diaspora, to be ready to serve in whatever capacity, whenever they are called upon and they must be ready to move at Asiwaju’s pace.
“Some members who had the opportunity to see one another face-to-face for the first time also suggested that a courtesy call should be paid to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Sen. George Akume, other appointed members of the executive as well as principal officers of the national assembly, to congratulate them on their recent appointments and to solicit for better placements for BATS-V members.
“After an exhaustive deliberation, the meeting unanimously agreed that a committee to handle the task be constituted and divided into sub-committees by the Global Chairman, which he immediately did and read out for their approval as follows;

The committee is expected to start its sitting within 48hr, that is latest by Monday 10th of July, 2023.
The Global Chairman finally thanked all those who attended the meeting for their efforts over the past four hours deliberating on Asiwaju project despite the two days notice given them for the meeting. He promised to do everything possible not to let them down nor betray the confidence reposed on him, stating that our Principal, the President, is aware of all our efforts and as a leader he would reciprocate accordingly.
