…Seeks NASS Members Support for Governor Oyebanji’s Efforts on Security
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State and United Kingdom Lawyer, Barrister Gbenga Ojo has condemned the gruesome murder of two kings in the state yesterday, the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola; and the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola, describing it quite sad and devastating.
The Ilogbo-Ekiti born Lawyer and House of Representatives Aspirant in the last general election in a chat with Journalists expressed shock over the accident: According to him: I Condole with Governor Oyebanji and the good people of Ekiti State on the Sad occurrence while calling on security Outfits in the State to swing into action and get the Perpetrators arrested immediately.
“The recent security Fallout in the State is unethical despite Governor Oyebanji’s efforts on Security. Recall, Mr Governor Present Patrol Vehicles for Police Force last year with extension to Amotekun. “This is a joint efforts to curb security challenges in the State. It is not about APC or PDP. Our State must be secured because no place like home.
Barrister Ojo, however, urge Ekiti federal lawmakers to adequately swing into action immediately by providing support for Ekiti Amotekun in complementing Governor Oyebanji’s led administration. He admonished many State federal lawmakers who have been supporting the efforts of their states’ governors. He urges the Senators and Rep Members to use the power of their good offices and networks in getting Patrol Vehicles and Motorcycles for Amotekun in Ekiti State for boosting morale of the officers. He however, advice NASS members to work on massive youths empowerment programs to make Ekiti Youths Self Reliance and alleviate poverty among youths.
He further appealed to the family of the demised Kings to take solace. May their Souls rest in peace and God bless the family they left behind, he added.
