Ado Ekiti NGO Foundation sets to enroll vocational students

A non governmental organization Foundation, Handy Innovation Vocational Institute established to empower disadvantaged youths to enhance financial Independence and family support would enroll another sets of students for Vocational skills .

The vocational school commences in May, 2024 at her centre in Ado Ekiti situated @ Kayode Akinyemi close Egbewa Road 3 GRA.

The Founder of the humanitarian NGO Rt Adeola Adesola-Olafikun who made the disclosure in Ado Ekiti noted that the free application form is available at the Centre with an online application as well on hello@handyinnovationsfoundation.com

The Founder explained that the programme was part of concerted efforts of the foundation to intervene in its own little way to reduce poverty in the land by empowering unemployed people in the society with the 3 months intensive practical training in Fashion designing, Hair styling, Shoe and Bag making, Make up Artistry/headgear tying, ICT amongst other vocations.

She disclosed that upon graduation the trainees would be issued with certificates that would enable them to be gainfully employed.

Rotarian Adeola Adesola-Olafikun emphasized that the vocational institute gesture was to complement government’s efforts to lift the unemployed and other vulnerable people out of poverty with sustainable development goals and also collaborate with organizations sharing the same vision.

She added that the programme is a continuous one in batches noting that the Institute had earlier made its impact felt in Ogun, Ondo and now Ekiti States with post training support, advice and mentoring skills.

The Founder added that some of the programmes include provision of basic health care reliefs, health awareness, sensitization programmes through outreaches , trainings on business management, best global practice for production, branding and packaging educational institute and kids talent development.
Stressing that the foundation was created by a successful Ekiti indigene professional willing to give back to the society.

She said the vision of the Institute is to reach more individuals across Africa to train , empower and financially support the needy to become successful entrepreneurs and business owners .

She therefore solicited for Sponsors /Partners Nationwide and in the diaspora as well to support the initiative to make it a continuous progress .
