Following the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari,the Egypt government has finally decided to open its boarder to evacuate stranded Nigerians for safety from Sudan due to war currently going on in the country.(Sudan)
This was disclosed in a short statement on the verified Twitter handle of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), on Monday.
The statement reads: “With the intervention of President Buhari, Egypt has finally opened its border to Nigerians fleeing Sudan. With an Airforce plane already on the ground in Aswan, Egypt, the processing of the first set of evacuees will begin.”
