The  Chairman of  Board Management Committee (SBMC) , Erin- Ayonigba High School in Erinjiyan Ekiti ( Ekiti West Local government area of Ekiti state,,Prince Sola Adetule (FCIA)  has enjoined the newly inaugurated Prefects of  the school to be good ambassadors of their parents and the school.
Adetule gave  the advice at the investiture of  new Prefects held at  the school hall in Erinjiyan Ekiti.
He added that the Prefects should not be oppressive in their day to day activities.
The SBMC Chairman also enjoined them t”o cooperate with the school authorities” and their colleagues adding that the position they met themselves was ordained by God and they should see it as a challenge to groom them better for future.
Prince Adetule commended the Principal Elder Ayodeji Akinboye and the entire staff for the success recorded so far in the academic achievements recorded in both National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council, he added that the school has been one of the Local Government in particular and in the State generally.
The SBMC boss of the school, thanked a United State based old students’ of the school, Pastor (Mrs) Yemisi Bamgbose for sponsoring Ten students of the school for the NECO examinations and urged others to emulate her in all ramification.
He added that “the school had prominent citizens at the international, national and state levels including the present Chairman of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education; Professor Femi Akinwumi and Mr. Kunle Adegoke; a lecturer in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife”
Earlier, the Principal of the school, Elder Ayodeji Akinboye expressed appreciation to the Old Students’ Association, PTA members as well as SBMC of the school for their support always.
To the new Prefects, the Principal challenged them to be hardworking, honest, diligent and forgo idleness: “But not to be busy bodies and not to grow weary in doing well at all times”.
Elder Akinboye also enjoined them to be disciplined in order to be able to discipline others adding: “ Do not fall victim of abuse and child molestation and any Prefect behaving un-rulling will be sanction”.
 Elder Akinboye also urged all the students to cooperate with their Prefects adding that they should obey lawful directives from the Prefect.
The parents and lovers of the new Prefects graced the occasion as well as representative of the NECO sponsors, a former Councillor in Ekiti West Local Government Olori (Hon.) I. Ogidiolu, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP Arowojobe and Host of others.
