The Lagos State Magistrates’ Court on Friday remanded Shoyemi Damilola Titilayo at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The arrest according to report follows allegations of cyberbullying, incitement and threats against the wife of late Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba.
Titilayo was arraigned before Magistrate A.I. Alaka at the Magistrates’ Court sitting at 111, Birell Avenue, Onike, Yaba, on a five-count charge.
The prosecution alleged that the offences were committed between August 2025 and March 2026 along the Lagos-Sango Road, with other suspects said to be at large.
According to the prosecution counsel, Irorere Osas, Titilayo and others allegedly conspired to disturb public peace and used a TikTok Live broadcast to accuse Mohbad’s widow of being responsible for the singer’s death.
The prosecution said the publication was capable of causing fear and alarm among members of the public.
The defendant was also accused of allegedly calling on members of the public to subject Wunmi and her minor son to jungle justice.
Another count alleged that she advised, counselled and encouraged others to carry out such an act. A further count concerned the alleged transmission of a recording containing threats to kill the mother and child.
Although the court granted Titilayo bail, it ordered that she remain in custody until she fulfils the conditions.
