Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Senator Ajibola Basiru Oyebamiji, has pledged to prioritise economic growth, education, healthcare and support for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under his proposed Prosperity Agenda.
Oyebamiji said his administration would strengthen the MSME sector by improving access to microcredit, grants and business development services, describing small businesses as critical drivers of economic growth and job creation for the people of the state.
He also outlined plans to transform the education sector through the modernisation of school infrastructure, recruitment and continuous training of teachers, expansion of technical and vocational education, and the creation of more apprenticeship opportunities for young people.
In the healthcare sector, the APC candidate promised to upgrade health facilities across the state and leverage strategic partnerships to advance universal health coverage, ensuring residents have access to affordable and quality healthcare services.
According to him, the Prosperity Agenda is a covenant with the people of Osun State, aimed at delivering sustainable economic growth, social inclusion and long-term development through prudent leadership, strategic investments and private sector-driven initiatives.
“Our agenda is a commitment to improving the lives of our people by creating opportunities, expanding access to quality services and building a prosperous future for every resident of Osun State,” he said.
