Why did I share the post about the near death experience that was reported by a sixteen year old school girl? Let me expose some of the reasons.
Western scientists claim that consciousness ends with biological death; meaning that there is no life after death. It is only in the last few years that very few medical researchers reported that an unsual form of awareness exists after death. This opinion shift was based on cases of apparently dead patients who regained physical consciousness or woke up minutes or hours after they were pronounced medically dead. The reports came to the conclusion that what such patients reported after they woke up from death did not emanate from their brain and that their perception must have come from another form of awareness. So Western scientists call such experience: Near death experience’ and their research is called near death experience research.
African and Asian traditional.beliefs claim that there is life after death, even though these traditional knowledge systems are now dominated by Western materialistic science that often deny the existence of life after life.
Majority of people in the world today are totally ignorant about where we were before we were born and where we would go after the so-called death. Death of any kind including death of elderly people is often one of sorrow.
Western religion like Western science has confused the issue of life after death the more. One can write almost a whole book on how Western religion creates panic about hell fire after death and by so doing turn religion into commerce.
When people die, the clergy at the burial would say; “erupe ile ni iwo, iwo yio si pada di erupe ile. Or Ejeka feru feru, ka fi yepe fun yepe (you were created from dust or ash and you are back to dust or ash) in the process of returning the corpse of the dead to mother Earth. Are you clay? Are you that clay or that ash from cremation? No. The clay that everybody mourns its death during burial ceremonies is not the same as the living clay before death struck. The essence of the living clay is the soul which returns after death to the spiritual world from where it came
Is there hell and heaven? The answer to this poorly understood question is what religious experts use to decieve us. The spiritual world is where everyone goes after death. But people go to various places in the spiritual world after death. In the physical world you may be born in Nigeria, and if you think Nigeria is a hell and America or Canada or Europe with -25 degrees celsius is better, you can pack your things and go there. That is what is called perceptual relativity. One man’s meat is another man’s poison.
Another reason why I sent the post from the young girl is her perfect presentation of her near death experience. Most people who went through near death experiences give accounts that are similar to hers. The experience of darkness, fear, then light and the appearance of a religious figure or some strange entity or helper. The voice of the helper will radiate love and compassion. The helper will give the person an assignment, tell him or her to go back to Earth because it was not yet time to die, then he or she will wake up but might not like the physical world when compared to the bliss of the spiritual world.
Let me say that ancient and traditional African societies have indigeneous knowledge about how to see dead relations. In future, science will provide such technology when and if humanity attains the necessary spiritual level of developement.
While some people use report from near death experiences as a evidence or proof that life exists after biological death, let it also be known that materialistic Western science still argues that near death experience could be brain hallucination and not a reality or a conclusive evidence because they have no equipment that can measure what went out of a dead body when the electoencephalogram could not measure brain activity or evidence of life.
Again, the so called dead peron is not dead because the person you said is dead is busy watching the mourning relations and sympatizers. The dead.person could be surprised that we are not able to see him or her because our normal vision or eyes cannot perceive the spiritual world. Death is therefore not death but a transition to another world or universe.
Just as there are natural and human laws that guide the physical universe, there are also laws that guide the spiritual world. Look at the young lady who was in darkness and was frightened after passing out. At that point she remembered the prayer points of her grand mother. Her thought about the prayers of her grandmother dispelled her fear and the darkness. Her thought also took her towards the light and the Master appeared from the light.
Many dead people, not all, will experience the feeling of passing through darkness and fear soon after biological death. The question is what will you think about if you find ⁷yourself under such uncertainty? This to me is not a religious question. This is a pure ethical question. Is it about the scripture or the good works you did or the billions of naira or dollars you have in the bank or the many houses you have or the beautiful women or handsome men you left behind?
Your thoughts will carry you to where you deserve to be in the spiritual realm. Your thoughts can take you towards the greater light or heaven or keep you in the realm of fantasies of the crimes you committed on earth. Your material wealth of any kind could tie you to to different spiritual money vaults and later push you to the urge of coming back and end up in a mothers womb; back to Earth again, to start another experience in the school of life on Earth.
How will you feel if there is a way you can interact or talk easily with a loved one that had passed into transition?
If this post intrests you, please note that the Foundation for Advancement of Culture and Science is committed to bridging the gap between Western science and religion on the one hand and African indigeneous knowledge systems on the other hand. We engage in multidisciplinary and cutting edge research.
