NAWOJ Ekiti Pays Tribute to Late Journalist, Ogunmiloyo

The Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has joined the media community in mourning the untimely demise of Mr. Ojo Olugbenga Ogunmiloyo, a prominent member of the On-Air Chapel.

In a heartfelt condolence message signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Adewumi Ademiju, and Secretary, Comrade Funmi Falae, NAWOJ described the late broadcaster as a committed professional whose passion and integrity left an indelible mark on journalism in the state.

According to the statement, Mr. Ogunmiloyo was not only a dedicated journalist but also a humble and respected voice in the media, whose work resonated with truth and responsibility.

“His passing is a tragic loss to the media industry in Ekiti. He was a diligent and principled professional whose absence will be deeply felt by colleagues and listeners alike,” the statement noted.

NAWOJ conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Ekiti State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), as well as colleagues in the Electronics and On-Air Chapels, urging them to find strength in the legacy he left behind.

The association also prayed for the peaceful repose of Mr. Ogunmiloyo’s soul and asked that God grant comfort and fortitude to everyone grieving this painful loss.
