April 4 2002! I bagged National Award for my Contributions to Tourism development in Nigeria – Wale Ojo-Lanre

 

The Director General Bureau of Tourism in Ekiti state, Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre has highlighted some of his meritorious award in the Tourism sector.

A statement by the Tourism DG reads:

“On this day, April 4, 2002, I was honored with a prestigious national recognition for my contributions to the growth and development of tourism in Nigeria.

“I received the Federal Government of Nigeria National Tourism Award, a distinguished accolade celebrating my efforts and commitment to advancing the tourism sector in our beloved country.

“The award was formally presented to me at the ECOWAS Secretariat in Abuja, during the World Tourism Organization African Commission Summit—a landmark event that brought together key tourism stakeholders from across the continent.

“This recognition remains a proud and humbling milestone in my journey as a passionate advocate for Nigeria’s cultural and tourism potential”, the DG said.
