Ikere-Ekiti witnessed a gathering of influential leaders and stakeholders as the Pentecost Leadership Academy hosted its Strategic Leadership Summit 2.0, celebrating the graduation of the Class of ’24 and marking four years of transformative initiatives.
His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Governor of Ekiti State, was ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties, Otunba Dolamu Adeniyi, at the prestigious event held at the Gofamint Pentecost Arena.
In his keynote address titled Strategic Leadership: A Call for Self-Examination and Peer Review, Governor Oyebanji underscored the essence of strategic thinking and evaluation in leadership. He emphasized critical leadership elements such as anticipating challenges, agenda-setting, transformational leadership, focused communication, and commitment to organizational goals. He also highlighted the importance of coaching and mentoring as tools for sustainable development.
The summit brought together thought leaders from diverse sectors, including politics, education, entertainment, religion, business, and commerce, fostering rich discussions on developmental strategies. Governor Oyebanji’s keynote offered valuable insights, drawing from his extensive experience in governance, to inspire the audience.
