Veteran Journalists in Ekiti State have felicitated with the State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and his Deputy Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi on their Three years in office.
The Veterans in a Press Release signed in Ado- Ekiti by the Vice Chairrman ,Prince Sola Adetule (FCIA) commended the administration on “some meaningful development in the areas of education, health, monthly payment of salaries,construction of roads to some towns,headquarter of the state Water Corporation,Civic Center and upgrading of College of Education lkere to a University”
The Veterans,however, want the Governor to use the remaining One year for more meaningful devepment and not campaign “moreso all interstates roads to Ekiti State are death traps such as Akure -Ado,ljebujesa -Ado,Kabba-Ado,Ikogosi-lgbara-odo,lgbaraodo-lkere,lkere-llawe and completion of Ado-lfa ki-Otun roads as well as all major township roads in Ado is an eyesore”
The Veterans concluded with an appeal to the Governor to pay all arrears “particularly 2018 salary and allowances /deductions inherited as well as gratuities from Governor Fayose administration”
