2023: Tinubu’s Supporters Hold ‘One Million man’ Road walk in Ekiti

In furtherance of preparations for the February 25  general election, a support group, under the aegis of “friends and admirers of Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, loyal to the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), yesterday held a “one-million-man-march” for the presidential candidate in Ekiti state .

The group, led by a notable stalwart of APC in the State, Chief Segun Ajibulu, walked for several kilometers in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital.

The road long walk which caused traffic jams in some parts of the city roads , especially the ones that lead to old garage and Okeyinmi areas, took off from the popular Mobil Filling Station, in Ajilosun Area, along Akure-Ado-Ekiti road, and terminated at the Adekunle Fajuyi Memorial Park area, along Government House road.

Speaking at the event, leader of the group, Ajibulu said the walk was a demonstration of their support for Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, his running mate.

He said since politics is all about crowd and votes, the aim of the exercise was to garner more support for the APC presidential candidate.

He added the solidarity walk was aimed at mobilising support for APC candidates, especially the presidential ambition of Tinubu.

According to him, both members of APC and other friends of Tinubu from other sectors, including students, artisans and businessmen, decided to march on the streets in support of his bid in the next month general elections, to further propagate his ideals and spread what is in the offing for Nigeria, if voted into power.

“It is intended to show to the world that Tinubu has millions of foot soldiers that are ready to work for the success of his presidential ambition in Ekiti”, he stated.
