A pro-Bola Ahmed Tinubu movement under the aegis of Tinubu Fellows Pathfinders (TFP), has declared that the former Lagos State Governor and presidential standard bearer of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu towers far above all other contenders for the covetted presidential seat in Aso rock, in the race which would take place in February, 2023 presidential poll in the country.
TFP, which has just been founded and spread across all the states of the federation, with the sole aim of gulvanizing support of Nigerians on all fronts, for the presidential ambition of BAT, made the declaration through her media team at the weekend.
In a statement co-signed by the national coordinator of TFP, Comrade Ahmed Mutair, and the national media coordinator, Comrade Wole Balogun, the TFP said Tinubu, as the Presidential flagbearer of the APC, strides the political landscape of the Nigeria like a collossus and towers above all other contenders in the race.
The movement added that Tinubu has the gracious personality, political sagacity, intellectual aptitudeness, managerial experience, humanitarian nature and administrative competence among others, to make Nigeria far greater than she is currently.
The statement further reads: “There is a no gainsayng the fact that since Asiwaju Bola Ahmed has joined the presidential race to Aso rock by emerging the standard bearer of the APC, all other contenders have become jittery and some have even been running from pillar to post making fruitless efforts to paint him in bad light. Unfortunately for them, Asiwaju Tinubu has proven himself to be the most qualified of all presidential hopefuls in Nigeria today.
“BAT is not only the most popular presidential candidate in Nigeria, but also the most charismatic of all the contenders. His precedents have provided for the world intimidating credentials that only a presidential material could boast of.
“For the records, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu began his political career as a fighter for the people, for the downtrodden. He began as an activist and was in the forefront of the fierce political activism that brought the dreadful military rule to its knees in 1999 to usher in democratic rule in Nigeria.
“While many of his colleague activists then had stayed away from active politics, BAT was drawn more into politics because of his undying love to make the life of ordinary Nigerians better.
He chose to start his Messianic sojourn in politics from one of Nigeria’s most promising states, Lagos, and won the governorship elections to rule the state for eight good years in 2000. The global community were amazed and grateful for how Tinubu turned the hitherto slum of Lagos into a mega city, generated millions of employment opportunities for the teeming Lagosians and also increased the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the state from millions into billions of Naira. It is on records till today and forever that Tinubu’s ingenuity in managing Lagos as the state’s Chief Executive had laid the solid foundation for the increasing economic buoyancy of the state to the amazing point that Lagos State now boasts of IGR in trillions of Naira!
