The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area, Hon. Oluwadamilare Ajayi has congratulated all the good people of Gbonyin LCDA on the grace granted them by God Almighty to witness the end of 2022 despite the ups and downs that characterised the year.
In a press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the LCDA, Mr Omotayo Peter, the Council boss equally returns glory to God for the opportunity to witness another new year.
Ajayi who commended the entire Management and Staff of the LCDA for their commitment and dedication to duties in the outgone year, calling on them in this new year to re double their efforts for better performance, noting that his administration is poised to transform the LCDA for better.
According to him, all market stalls in the LCDA would be attended to by his administration while the newly constructed administrative building would be commissioned for use.
Ajayi specially thank all the traditional rulers in the three communities in the LCDA for ensuring adequate protection of security of lives and property and for maintaining peace among themselves. He promised that necessary support would be given to security personnel for hitch free 2023
In a bid to achieve the set goals for 2023, which the Chairman said would be more productive and remarkable, he therefore called on all and sundry in the Council area to embrace good planning, effective time management and remain focused.
The Council boss urged the people of the area to make payment of their taxes a priority saying, this is the only means his administration would be able to deliver dividends of democracy.
