Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has approved the payment of registration fees for 2023/2024 academic session for all verified Kebbi State indigenes studying in Usman Danfodio University Sokoto (UDUS).
The governor in a statement on Sunday signed by his Chief Press Secretary Ahmed Idris and made available to Journalists in Birnin Kebbi said the effort is meant to improve the standard of education in the state.
He added that the approval was to encourage the students get sound education and to ease difficulties faced by parents.
“The present administration is determined to fulfil all its campaign promises, most especially in education, agriculture, health, infrastructure and youth empowerment,” he assured.
The governor advised all students studying at UDUS to take full advantage of the opportunity by studying hard towards achieving the purpose of being in school.
