Pastor Philip Ezekiel Leads Pastorate and Members in Thanksgiving, Outreach and Special Prayers For Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo Birthday Celebration.
The Living Faith Church Worldwide AKA Winner’s Chapel, Kagini, along the Kubwa Expressway, Abuja, FCT, has joined millions of worshippers around the world to celebrate the 72nd birthday of the Founder and President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop Dr. David Olaniyi Oyedepo, the Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota.
The celebration, held on September 27, brought together the Senior and Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church Kagini, Pastor Philip Ezekiel, the entire pastorate, and members of the church in a special atmosphere of thanksgiving, worship, prayers and appreciation to God Almighty for the life and ministry of Bishop Oyedepo.
Speaking during the celebration, Pastor Philip Ezekiel described Bishop David Oyedepo as an extraordinarily gifted, dedicated and focused servant of God who has committed himself to the advancement of God’s Kingdom and the salvation of souls.
According to him, Bishop Oyedepo’s ministry has continued to impact lives through the teaching, preaching, training, mentoring and practical demonstration of the Word of God, empowering men and women to grow spiritually and exercise their faith.
Pastor Ezekiel noted that the teachings and ministry of Bishop Oyedepo have helped many people develop a deeper understanding of their faith and overcome various challenges, including fear, oppression, intimidation and other difficulties that affect their spiritual and personal lives.
He further commended Bishop Oyedepo for his continued commitment to soul-winning and kingdom advancement, describing him as a leader who has consistently encouraged Christians to understand their identity in Christ and live according to the principles of the Word of God.
As part of activities marking the birthday celebration, Pastor Philip Ezekiel led the pastorate and members of Living Faith Church Kagini on evangelism and outreach programmes aimed at reaching people with the message of salvation.
The outreach was undertaken as a spiritual expression of honour to their spiritual father, with the objective of winning souls into the Kingdom of God and giving thanks to God for the life and ministry of Bishop Oyedepo.
Pastor Oke Chukwuma the assistant resident pastor and other ministers who participated in the celebration also encouraged members to use the occasion to give glory to God, emphasizing the importance of appreciating God for His faithfulness and for raising men who dedicate their lives to His service.
Pastor Philip Ezekiel also encouraged members of the church to participate actively in the birthday celebration as an expression of love, honour and togetherness.
He urged members to come to church with food and cakes to celebrate together as one family, stressing that Christians should continue to demonstrate love, unity and care for one another.
The birthday celebration also featured special prayers for the church, members and people across the world.
Pastor Philip Ezekiel used the occasion as a point of contact to pray for greater grace, divine protection, freedom from oppression, healing, deliverance, direction, wisdom and divine intervention for members and other worshippers.
Prayers of healing, deliverance, restoration, signs and wonders, spiritual growth and breakthrough were offered, alongside intercessory prayers for the Church and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
The congregation also prayed for continued strength, wisdom, divine preservation and grace upon Bishop David Oyedepo as he continues his service to God and humanity.
The service ended in an atmosphere of joy, thanksgiving and celebration, with members expressing happiness and gratitude to God for the life of their spiritual father and leader.
Members shared refreshments, sang birthday songs and celebrated together in an atmosphere of love and fellowship before returning to their various homes and locations.
