The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, the Alaafin of Oyo, on the occasion of his 51st birthday on Friday.

In a congratulatory message on Friday, Iba Adams prayed for the monarch’s longevity, good health, and continued wisdom to steer the affairs of the Oyo Kingdom and the Yoruba nation at large.

“On this auspicious day marking your 51st year, I celebrate not only your birth but also your unwavering commitment to the Yoruba people and their traditions.

“May the Almighty grant you many more years on the throne of your forebears, filled with peace, prosperity, and the strength to uphold the dignity of our great heritage,” he stated.

Adams praised the monarch for his enduring leadership and significant contributions to the preservation and promotion of Yoruba culture and heritage.

The Aare Ona Kakanfo noted that as one of the revered and historical spiritual and traditional leaders of Yorubaland, Oba Owoade has been instrumental in fostering unity among the Yoruba people and promoting cultural renaissance.

He also highlighted the importance of the Alaafin’s leadership in contemporary times, emphasising the monarch’s role in bridging the past and present.

“Your Majesty’s stewardship is a beacon of hope and continuity for the Yoruba nation. Your dedication to cultural preservation and community development inspires all Yoruba sons and daughters,” Iba Adams said.l

He recalled how Oba Owoade had, three weeks ago, cancelled the grand celebrations being planned, saying that he could not be celebrating his birthday while the abductees were still in captivity, only for the Federal Government to later secure their release before his birthday.

Iba Adams expressed optimism for the future under Alaafin’s leadership, praying that the monarch’s reign would be blessed with peace, progress, and the fufulfilmentf his vision for the Oyo Kingdom.

“May your Majesty’s days be long, your health robust, and your legacy enduring. Happy 51st birthday, Your Imperial Majesty,” he concluded.
