Leaders of Ido-Osi Constituency II have commended the member representing the constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Yomi Ayorinde, for his consistent responsiveness, accessibility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.
The commendation came during an interactive constituency engagement meeting where Hon. Ayorinde met with community leaders and stakeholders to review progress, strengthen bonds, and reaffirm his dedication to people-centred representation.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Ayorinde expressed profound appreciation to his constituents for their massive turnout and support during the build-up to the recent gubernatorial primary election. He described their solidarity as a demonstration of political maturity and collective belief in the progressive ideals of the party.
The lawmaker also used the occasion to thank Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for creating an enabling environment that has made it possible for him to effectively discharge his obligations and deliver meaningful interventions to the people of Ido-Osi Constituency II. He noted that the support of the Governor has been instrumental in translating representation into tangible impact at the grassroots.
Hon. Ayorinde further called for continuous support for the party and the administration of Governor Oyebanji, urging constituents to remain united and committed to sustaining the current trajectory of development and good governance in Ekiti State.
Earlier in his remarks, the lawmaker described himself as “the Chief Messenger of the Constituency,” assuring the leaders that he would continue to do their bidding and would not betray the trust reposed in him by the people.
As part of the engagement, Hon. Ayorinde presented Yuletide gifts and relief items to constituency leaders, a gesture he said was meant to appreciate their support, leadership, and cooperation.
In their response, the leaders lauded Hon. Ayorinde as a dependable and worthy representative, attesting that he has never disappointed the constituency at any level of responsibility entrusted to him. They recalled his impressive track record, noting that he served creditably as a Councillor, performed excellently as Chairman of the Local Government, administered diligently while serving on boards, and is currently representing the constituency with honour and distinction in the House of Assembly.
The leaders concluded by offering prayers for Hon. Ayorinde’s continued progress, expressing confidence that he would rise beyond their expectations in service to the people and the state.
