The Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board in Ekiti State, Alhaji Salman Adedipe, has congratulated Muslims in the state on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
Alhaji Adedipe in a statement expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to observe the holy month of Ramadan, which is a period of spiritual rejuvenation and self-reflection for Muslims.
He also extended his appreciation to the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his love and inclusiveness towards Muslims in the state and commended the governor for his kind gestures, including the distribution of food packages and hosting of IFTAR during the holy month.
“These actions demonstrate the governor’s commitment to promoting unity and harmony among people of different faiths in the state”
Adedipe also appreciated the president league of Imams and Alfas South West,Edo and Delta Sheik Jamiu kewulere Bello” for the good leadership direction he has been given to Muslims in the state”.
The chairman’s message emphasized the importance of sustaining the spirit of Ramadan throughout the year. He urged Muslims to continue to uphold the values of compassion, generosity, and self-discipline that are central to their faith. Alhaji Adedipe also encouraged Muslims to remain steadfast in their devotion to Allah and to continue to promote peace and understanding in their communities.
“As Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, we prayed that Allah would bless them with peace, prosperity, and happiness”, said Adedipe.
He also wished the Muslim community in Ekiti State a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, and urged everyone to continue to work together towards building a more harmonious and prosperous society.
