Ekiti One Mind Lions Club under Lions clubs international district 404B2 Nigeria has distributed learning materials such as exercise books, pen, and pencils to students of Ogo Oluwa Community Primary School, Ikere Ekiti.
This marks the concluding round of the program, which followed the initial session held in Ijero Ekiti three weeks ago.
While distributing items to students, Lion Omolayo Oso, President of Ekiti One Mind Lions Club who stated that the club would continue to support the less privileged, emphasized that service to humanity is the core mission of its members.
Lion Oso advised the beneficiaries to remain focused on their studies to achieve success in life.
He added that Lions Clubs International which was founded in 1917 in Chicago, now operates in over two hundred countries worldwide.
In a remark, Head Mistress of Ogo Oluwa Primary School, Ikere Ekiti, Mrs. S.O Folutinle appreciated Ekiti One Mind Lions Club and urged others to emulate the gesture of the club in delivering quality and quantitative services to the society.
Members of the Ekiti One Mind Lions Club team recently visited the Ogoga of Ikere Ekiti, HRM Oba Adejimi Adu Alagbado.
During the visit, the monarch expressed appreciation and offered prayers for the continued progress of the club in their efforts to support those in need.
