Eid Maulud Celebrations: Lagos APC Chairman,Ojelabi calls for Unity, Peace

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state has felicitated  the Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the globe to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.O.H).

 

The APC in a press release on Monday signed by the Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi urged the Muslims to embrace love and peace and to relect on the lessons of the celebration

The APC boss charged Muslims and all Nigerians to “emulate the spirit of brotherhood and oneness that Prophet Muhammad made the cornerstone of his religious beliefs and values”

He enjoined the people to live together in harmony and respect one another so that the Nigerian nation could continue to witness growth and prosperity for the benefit of all

“Today, we gather to celebrate the life, teachings, and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad, who embodied compassion, justice, and peace. As we mark this significant occasion, we reflect on the values of love, tolerance, and forgiveness that are fundamental to the Islamic faith.

“I recognize that many Nigerians continue to face challenges and hardships. Our party remains committed to working tirelessly to address these issues and elevate the pains of our citizens.

“Our government is dedicated to:

1. Improving economic opportunities and job creation.
2. Enhancing healthcare and education services.
3. Strengthening security and protecting our communities.
4. Promoting social justice and equality.

“I urge all Nigerians, regardless of faith or background, to unite in the spirit of Eid Maulud and work together towards a brighter future.

“To our Muslim brothers and sisters, l wish you a joyous and peaceful Eid Maulud. May this special day bring you closer to your faith, your families, and your communities.

“Happy Eid Maulud”, Ojelabi said.
