The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council has rejoiced with the governor of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the union through its Chairman, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela equally congratulated the family of the Governor, most importantly the first lady Erelu Bisi Fayemi who has been a strong pillar behind the Governor for witnessing the special day of her husband.
Ojomoyela prayed God to continue to strengthen the Governor and preserve his life to witness many more years on earth.
He described Governor Fayemi as a true leader who had never toyed with the welfare of journalists and NUJ owing to his regular support with utmost magnanimity.
Ojomoyela acknowledged also “the plan by the Governor to organize a fund raising programme towards building a beffiting press centre for the union” with a prayer to God to continue to uphold the Governor and take him to the peak of his political career.
